This partnership between Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾and CSC aims to foster long-term international research collaboration. Where possible, co-supervision arrangements between Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾and the candidate's respective Chinese universities will be encouraged.
CSC-Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾Joint Funding Program
To be eligible applicants must:
- Be a Chinese nationality at the time of application.
- Meet the Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾entry requirements, including both English and academic, for the Doctor of Philosophy program and receive an unconditional offer letter from UniSQ, or an offer letter conditional on completion of their current program.
- This joint scholarship is subject to the applicant also being successful in applying for the China Scholarship Council award.
Step 1:
- Apply to the Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾ for admission into the Doctor of Philosophy program by the specified deadline.
- In the Finances section of the application, express the intention to apply for the CSC-Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾Joint Funding Program.
- If the application is successful, the applicant will receive a letter of offer and a conditional tuition fee scholarship letter from Íøºì±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøÕ¾by the end of February 2025.
Step 2:
- Upon receiving the letter of offer and conditional scholarship letter from UniSQ, apply directly to the China Scholarship Council () for the living allowance and support.
- The CSC application guidelines and deadlines will be specified on the CSC website, typically opening in March. Applicants should refer to the CSC website for specific details and instructions regarding the application process.
